Board resolution to create Emeritus Status
Be it resolved that on this day, May 1, 2009, the Board of Directors has created an Emeritus Fellow position consistent with Article II, Section 2 (4) of the bylaws-Other Membership Categories: The Board of Directors may establish by resolution other classes of membership as long as the additional classes include only those members who have been selected as SFP Fellows.
To be considered for membership as Emeritus Fellow, the applicant must currently be a Fellow in good standing who has retired and is employed less than fifty percent of the time in their position or occupation.
Emeritus Fellows must submit a written request to the Executive Director including the date of retirement. That request will be reviewed by the Membership Committee prior to approval.
